Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has completed a month’s run at the box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie has been making and breaking records right from the beginning, but has also witnessed its fair share of lows. With a drop of over 20 per cent, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ started its fifth week on a subdued note. However, just when it appears that the film is losing its grip, it makes a comeback. On its fifth Saturday, despite the competition from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla,’ Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ saw a significant growth. Trade reports indicate that the movie came close to the Rs 1,750 crore mark worldwide, benefiting from the weekend surge. According to Sacnilk, with 3,913 shows, ‘Dhurandar: The Revenge’ collected a net of Rs 4.65 crore on day 31. This represents a 72.2% growth from day 30’s net collection of Rs 2.70 crore. Further, this has pushed India’s net collections to 1,110.47 crore.Coming to the worldwide collection, the movie made a total of Rs 1,748.91 crore. This includes India’s gross collections of Rs 1,329.31 crore and overseas earnings of Rs 419.60 crore (on day 31, the movie minted Rs 1.10 Cr in the international market). With this, the movie has become one of the highest-grossing films of Indian cinema. It has already surpassed the collection record set by Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’
