A week after being found unconscious in a pool, the actress’s family revealed that she had passed away at the hospital after suffering from a cardiac arrest and slipping into a coma for a week, AFP reported. Her daughters also issued formal statements announcing the news to the world.Their statement read, “It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Nadia Farès this Friday. France has lost a great artist, but for us, it is above all a mother we have just lost.” Police had started an investigation into her case; however, it was confirmed that no wrongdoing was found by them.

Cylia, one of Farès’ daughters, took to her social media account to share a tribute post for her mother. She shared, “It pains me to say goodbye, but mama, I will make you so proud. I am so happy that we got even closer than we were before in your last few months. You understood me better than anyone, and I don’t know how I will recover. People always say I’m mini you, and that’s the best compliment.”Furthermore, she talked about how grateful she is for her mother and that she will continue to be her biggest inspiration in life. She concluded the post by adding, “You were not only an amazing mom but my best friend. …I love you, please watch over me. You have shown me how fast life can change literally overnight.
