Opening up about her journey

In an exclusive chat with NDTV, Tannishtha opened up about her bond with Hina, the unwavering support of her girl gang that kept her spirits high, and how her 70-year-old mother and 9-year-old daughter responded to the news of her stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

When asked if she knew Hina before her diagnosis, she shared that their bond goes back to before they were both diagnosed. She revealed that Hina has been in touch with her throughout the treatment, offering warmth and constant support, which she deeply cherishes.She further added that their shared experiences with cancer have brought them even closer. Tannishtha explained that she and Hina have been in constant touch, forming a unique bond built on mutual understanding and the ability to relate to each other on a deeper level.Following Chatterjee’s announcement, Khan took to Instagram Stories to express her support. She called Tannishtha a brave soul, praised her strength, and assured her of unwavering love, healing, and constant presence in her journey. Hina Khan, who is battling stage 3 breast cancer, revealed her diagnosis in a detailed Instagram post last year.

Apart from Hina Khan, Tannishtha Chatterjee’s strong girl gang has stood firmly by her side, ensuring she never felt alone in this battle. On Ganesh Chaturthi, she visited Divya Dutta and Tanvi Azmi’s homes to join the celebrations, later sharing a heartwarming post with Urmila Matondkar, Tanvi Azmi, and others on Instagram. Speaking about the unwavering support of her friends, the actress shared that her girl gang has been by her side throughout, often taking turns to visit her in the hospital.
