Three outdoor collaborations to look out for this season

The outdoors has never been more desirable. With escapism now in its sights, fashion is embracing the outdoor wardrobe in a dialogue between technicality and imagination. Here are three collaborations reshaping the contours of the outdoors.

Aigle x Deyrolle

French brand Aigle has teamed up with Maison Deyrolle on a nature‑inspired outdoor capsule.

Specialising in outerwear and Wellington boots, Aigle collaborates with the Parisian scientific and educational institution on a naturalist imagery. At the heart of this limited‑edition collection, the butterfly takes centre stage as the defining motif, echoing Deyrolle’s universe.

The capsule comprises eight pieces: a unisex windbreaker, a cape, a printed T‑shirt, and three accessories- a waterproof hat, a waterproof scarf, and a bum bag. The offer is rounded out by a children’s Wellington boot and a pair of ankle boots.

Available from March 18, the collection is priced from €44 to €220. Founded in 1853 and now a subsidiary of MF Brands Group, Aigle continues its collaboration strategy, following the recent announcement of a partnership with Setchu set for next September.

The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen

The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen unveil the third chapter in their collaboration, blending technicality and romanticism.

Making its first appearance at the designer’s spring–summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week, this new capsule explores a more modular approach to technical clothing. Designed for milder conditions, the pieces prioritise lightness, flexibility, and adaptability, with silhouettes that evolve with wear.

At the heart of the collection, several convertible pieces embody this approach: a printed ripstop jacket with removable zip‑off sleeves transforms into a gilet, while matching trousers can be worn as shorts. A second line, rendered in deep olive tones, features a pullover cinched at the waist and a long coat with hybrid lines.

Accessories extend the collection, with a reworked duffle bag, a translucent pouch adorned with a floral karabiner, and a pair of ‘shandals,’ hybrids between sandals and shoes- a signature of this collaboration.

In all, the capsule comprises seven pieces, offered in a palette dominated by Forest Night green. Prices range from €275 to €750.

Available from March 26, the collection is available online on both brands’ websites, in selected The North Face boutiques, as well as through selected partners.

Merci x Au Vieux Campeur

An earlier collaboration in the outerwear sphere, ‘Congés Payés’ is the first joint collection between Au Vieux Campeur and Merci.

Founded in 1946, Au Vieux Campeur has established itself as a Parisian institution dedicated to outdoor enthusiasts, bringing together generations of hikers, mountaineers, and travellers. Meanwhile, Merci, a concept store on boulevard Beaumarchais, has since 2009 cultivated an art of living that blends fashion, design and everyday objects with a curious, eclectic spirit.

Presented at the start of 2026 beneath the dome of the Merci store, this collaboration brings together two emblematic houses on the Parisian scene. Together, they conceived ‘Congés Payés,’ a capsule that draws on the spirit of holidays and freedom, echoing the social advance introduced in France in 1936.

The name of the collection also nods to the origins of Au Vieux Campeur and its founder, who began in the 1930s at La Samaritaine in a department aptly named ‘Congés Payés,’ before opening his own boutique dedicated to outdoor equipment.

Conceived as an everyday wardrobe, the capsule offers an urban interpretation of the outdoors. It also features a wide selection of accessories and smaller items, extending the spirit of travel and escapism into everyday objects. Available online on both brands’ websites.
