Taylor Swift gets engaged to Travis Kelce: Did Blake Lively wish pop superstar? 'She isn't going to'

The fairytale engagement of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce has been met with an outpouring of congratulations from friends and fans, but reportedly no wishes came from one of her closest friends, Blake Lively.According to a report, the actress has not reached out to Swift following the announcement. The once-inseparable duo’s friendship has reportedly cooled down following Lively’s recent legal drama.

No wishes from Blake Lively for Taylor Swift on her engagement with Travis Kelce

According to the Daily Mail, a source stated that Blake Lively did not congratulate Swift and has no plans to. “Blake didn’t reach out and isn’t going to,” the insider told the publication. The person added, “This isn’t the time. What would be the point of reaching out now? It really makes no sense.”The report stated that the actress is not obsessing about Taylor getting engaged to the NFL star. Reportedly, this is because she has her own things to focus on (the legal drama with filmmaker Justin Baldoni). As per the report, the insider stated that if they were on good terms, like before the rift, the situation would have been different. However, “now, it’s just silence.”

What happened between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift?

The friendship between Swift and Lively reportedly hit a rough patch earlier this year after the singer was entangled in a legal dispute involving Lively and her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star, Justin Baldoni.Reportedly, the actor-filmmaker filed a USD 400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, citing defamation and extortion. And in the same legal proceedings, Swift was issued a subpoena to appear in court as a witness. Later, the lawsuit was dismissed and the subpoena dropped. However, this resulted in causing a rift in Blake and Taylor’s friendship. A source told People, “Taylor wants no part in this drama.” Go to Source
