Shah Rukh Khan made a stylish appearance at Eden Gardens on Monday evening as he turned up to support his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), along with daughter Suhana Khan. The duo was spotted in the stands during KKR’s clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS), with visuals from the stadium quickly going viral on social media. Even as rain briefly interrupted the match, fans couldn’t take their eyes off the father-daughter pair.

Dressed in a white, purple and gold KKR jersey paired with jeans, the actor completed his look with a cap, and glimpses of his greying hair visible underneath.Suhana, too, twinned with her father in a KKR jersey and jeans, leaving her hair open. The two were seen waving at fans, many of whom cheered loudly and chanted, “We love Shah Rukh,” as they caught a glimpse of the superstar.

Several photos and videos from inside the stadium showed Shah Rukh interacting with KKR CEO Venky Mysore, while other clips captured him and Suhana waiting for the match to resume after the rain break.The father-daughter duo’s presence added to the buzz around the high-voltage IPL encounter, which saw KKR win the toss and opt to bat first, although the team appeared to struggle before play was halted. Shah Rukh, often referred to as Bollywood’s ‘Baadshah’, is known for consistently turning up to support KKR, making his appearances at matches a fan-favourite ritual.

What’s next for Shah Rukh Khan

On the work front, Shah Rukh was last seen in 2023 releases Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, following which he took a brief break after a packed year. He is now working on King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is expected to feature Suhana Khan alongside an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, although an official announcement is still awaited.
