Amid the ongoing conflict, the war is no longer limited to weapons—sharp and aggressive statements from both sides are intensifying tensions. Former US President Donald Trump has warned that if attacks escalate, the entire region could turn into “hell” and has even threatened to push Iran into the “Stone Age.” The US continues to demand unconditional surrender, claiming the war is nearing its end. In response, Iran has issued equally strong warnings, stating that all US bases are within its target range and that any attack will be met with a powerful retaliation. Iran also warned that Israel would not remain safe if strikes continue. A major escalation came from advisor Ali Akbar Velayati, who threatened to block not only the Strait of Hormuz but also the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. Such a blockade could disrupt global trade, impact oil and gas supply chains, raise fuel prices, and severely affect economies worldwide, including India.
