Heinrich Klaasen top scored with a solid 52 off 35 balls, while Abhishek Sharma (48) and Travis Head (46) provided a blistering start in the powerplay. Blessing Muzarabani was the pick of the bowlers for KKR with a four wicket haul, but he could not stop the run flow.
In response, KKR were bundled out for 161 in just 16 overs. Youngster Angkrish Raghuvanshi showed some fight with a brilliant 52 off 29 balls, but the rest of the batting order collapsed under pressure.
