In the January-March period, the Kia India registered a 11.6 per cent rise in its sales to 84,316 units, compared with 75,576 units in the year-ago period.Automaker Kia India on Wednesday reported its highest-ever monthly sales in March 2026 at 29,112 units, marking a 14.5 per cent year-on-year increase from 25,525 units sold in the same month last year.
Company said the performance reflects sustained demand across its key models and segments.
In the January-March period, the automaker registered a 11.6 per cent rise in its sales to 84,316 units, compared with 75,576 units in the year-ago period.
“The new Seltos, backed by its 5-star BNCAP rating, continues to lead momentum, while Sonet and Carens line-up remain steady volume drivers with continuous enhancements aligned to evolving customer needs,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India.
The growth was driven by strong demand for its SUV and MPV portfolio, particularly the Seltos, consistently clocking over 10,000 units in monthly sales.
The Sonet remained a steady contributor in the compact SUV segment, while the Carens line-up sustained traction, highlighting broad-based demand across categories.
The company’s emphasis on safety features, premium offerings and product upgrades has helped strengthen customer retention and repeat purchases, reflecting a shift towards feature-rich vehicles in the domestic market.
Kia India has also expanded its reach, with its nationwide network growing to 862 touchpoints across 390 cities, alongside 124 certified pre-owned outlets.
