Samyuktha talks about her role in ’Benz’ to join LCU; 'Vaathi' actress reflects on working with Dhanush and Pawan Kalyan - Exclusive

Actress Samyuktha discusses her upcoming role in ‘Benz’ and her excitement to join the LCU. Reflecting on her experiences, she shares insights into working with actors like Dhanush and Pawan Kalyan, highlighting their unique approaches. Samyuktha emphasizes her focus on strong scripts and diverse characters, aiming to deliver authentic performances that resonate with her audience.

Actress Samyuktha has carved out a solid niche for herself in South Indian cinema, thanks to her authentic performances and commanding presence on screen. She tends to make great choices in roles that are histrionically heavy and surprises everyone with her versatility. Be it sober, dramatic moments or demanding roles, she brings a certain elegance and authenticity to all of them. Over the years, she has worked with industry game changers, which has helped her grow as an artist.

Learning from Dhanush, Pawan Kalyan, and Balakrishna

Talking about her experiences with leading actors in an exclusive chat with Etimes, Samyuktha said each one brought something unique. “All the actors are very, very different,” she shared. Speaking about Dhanush, she said, “He is such a natural performer,” highlighting how effortlessly he acts on screen. I would like to work with him again. About Pawan Kalyan, she noted, “His aura and the way people love him is a very different space.” She also mentioned that working with Balakrishna was a completely different experience because of the film’s commercial tone. “It all depends on what movie we are working on,” she added, explaining how the mood of the set changes with the story.

Samyuktha’s script selection and performance approach

Samyuktha believes that strong scripts are the backbone of her career choices. She said, “All films I do portray my reading of the script and picking the meter to perform.” She loves to have roles that have different types of shades. Speaking about one such character in Bakkiyaraj Kannan’s ‘Benz,’ she shared, “I am happy to join the cinematic universe (LCU). My character is very loud but also very different in the same film.” For her, understanding the director’s vision is very important. She added that she focuses on dialogue delivery, emotions, and performance style to match the tone expected in the film.

Looking ahead, Samyuktha wants to continue being part of meaningful stories. She remarked, “People are appreciating how I curate stories, and that’s the highest recognition.” She genuinely considers her audience, so she wants to motivate them and not lose their trust. Since acting in the web series ‘Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat,’ she has done so already. With a focus on storytelling and such interesting roles, Samyuktha is set to explore new territories and enjoy the course of her acting career.
