Suriya’s support for Karunas and Ken Karunaas revealed

From praying during Ken Karunaas' birth to praising the actor-director for 'Youth': Suriya's support for Karunas and his son

Actor Karunas shared a heartwarming anecdote about Suriya’s profound support during his wife’s difficult pregnancy, even praying for their child’s safe arrival. Years later, Suriya lauded Karunas’ son, Ken, for his film ‘Youth,’ calling him like his own son. This touching display of friendship and mentorship continues to resonate with fans.

Actor Karunas recently revealed a touching moment involving Suriya that has now gone viral online. The video, originally from the promotions of ‘Singam,’ shows Karunas speaking about Suriya’s caring nature during a difficult time in his life. With Ken Karunaas finding success with ‘Youth,’ this older tale is back in the spotlight, capturing attention once more. Fans are praising Suriya for his kindness, with many calling it a true example of humanity beyond cinema.

Karunas calls Suriya a supportive friend

As per Filmibeat, Karunas recalled that when he was new to cinema during ‘Nandha,’ his wife was nine months pregnant. He said, “I had left my wife alone at home during her final stage of pregnancy and came for the shooting. I felt very guilty and emotional.” One day, he sat alone and cried on set, missing his family. Suriya noticed this and immediately came to him. “He asked me what happened, and I told him everything,” Karunas said.

Suriya’s emotional support

Karunas further revealed Suriya’s heartfelt reaction the next day. “He woke me up at 4.30 in the morning, asked me to get ready, and took me to Rameswaram temple,” he said. Suriya not only asked him to pray for his child but also prayed himself for the safe delivery. “He knelt down and prayed for my family. That is the kind of person Suriya is,” Karunas added. Suriya’s gesture of kindness brought tears to the eyes of his admirers, who couldn’t help but be moved by his compassion and emotional sensitivity.

Suriya praises Ken Karunaas for ‘Youth’ success

Now, years later, Suriya has a unique connection with Karunaas’ son, Ken Karunnaas. After watching “Youth,” he said, “I need to congratulate Ken and his team, he is like my son.” He further said, “It is like a war to finish a film in 53 days.” This brought a smile to many faces and boosted the morale of the film’s team. Having ‘Youth’ succeed at the box office, Ken Karunaas will be more in the public eye, and Suriya’s sentiments will have even greater significance for him. Go to Source
