A major escalation has been reported as Iran launched missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, targeting multiple locations including airports, oil tankers, and areas linked to U.S. military bases. Kuwait confirmed intercepting two drones, but several explosions were heard across the country. Simultaneously, Iran continued strikes on Israel, while Israel retaliated with heavy airstrikes inside Iran. The Israel Defense Forces claimed major attacks in cities like Isfahan and Shiraz, causing significant destruction. Reports indicate that two civilians were killed in a residential area in Shiraz during the strikes. Meanwhile, Iran-backed fighters in Iraq claimed to have launched 23 attacks on U.S. military bases using dozens of drones, intensifying pressure on American forces in the region. Despite Donald Trump claiming that negotiations are underway to end the war, Iran has rejected these claims, stating that indirect messaging cannot be considered real dialogue.
