Ajay Devgn reunites with ‘Sardaarji’ director Rohit Jugraj for epic horror flick, July shoot ahead

Ajay Devgn teams with Rohit Jugraj (Sardaarji fame) for Kumar Mangat’s high-concept horror, post-Bhoot (2003). London shoot in July; title soon. Atmospheric plot, ensemble cast underway. Meanwhile, filming Golmaal 5 with Akshay in Mumbai for 2027 release.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is diving back into horror territory. Currently in pre-production, the film pairs him with Rohit Jugraj, director of Punjabi hits ‘Sardaarji’ and ‘Sardaarji 2’, in a Kumar Mangat production. This untitled project promises a bold, high-concept scarefest with epic cinematic flair.

Ajay Devgn dives back into horror

According to Pinkvilla, the narrative leans into atmospheric storytelling, setting it apart from conventional horror films. The film will be shot extensively in London and the makers are currently deep into pre-production, locking key technical departments and screenplay. The casting for the film is also underway, with the team looking to bring together an ensemble to complement Devgn’s powerful screen presence. The supporting cast is being kept tightly under wraps; the makers are aiming for a mix of fresh talent.

Ajay Devgn returns post ‘Bhoot’

After ‘Bhoot’ in 2003, Ajay Devgn is finally circling back to horror and it’s a milestone project. Expect serious industry stir from his unadulterated genre return. The title, both catchy and mysterious, drops soon from the makers. Shooting from July onward, it’s gearing up as a prime genre highlight for the year ahead.

Ajay Devgn shoots ‘Golmaal 5’

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn is busy shooting ‘Golmaal 5’ with Akshay Kumar in Mumbai. The Rohit Shetty action-comedy series targets theaters globally in 2027.
