Jason Momoa and family evacuate North Shore home in Hawaii; share video updates of the storm: ‘Hopefully everyone’s safe’

Hollywood star Jason Momoa and his family were compelled to evacuate their Oahu North Shore residence due to severe flooding impacting Hawaii. The actor shared a social media update, confirming their safety while expressing concern for others affected by the storms. Momoa highlighted the widespread impact on communities, particularly those already facing difficulties, and urged everyone to stay safe.

Recently, the state of Hawaii has been hit with floodwaters, forcing people in the area to evacuate. Famed actor Jason Momoa, who will next be seen in ‘Supergirl’, shared an update about himself, revealing that he was one of the many who have been forced to evacuate their areas because of safety concerns.

Jason Momoa evacuates as Hawaii is hit with floods

Momoa and his entire family live on Oahu’s North Shore. However, as the storm hit the region and flooding started, the actor revealed that they were forced to leave their home. Taking to his social media, he posted an update and shared what is happening in the world. The actor revealed that the power in his area had gone out, and due to safety concerns, the entire family has currently left the North Shore home.In the video, he can be heard updating fans about his situation, citing, “We’re safe for now, but there are a lot of people who weren’t, so, sending all our love.” He then urged others in the area to be careful out there as well because of the storm. “North Shore’s pretty gnarly right now, so just love, and hopefully everyone’s safe and getting out and get together and figure out how we help everyone…. Stay safe out there,” he concluded.

Jason Momoa has been keeping fans regularly updated

In another older video, the actor showed that they were on the West Side and had been doing their level best to give back to the community. In the video, he stated, “These past weeks have been heavy. The storms, the flooding, the constant rain across Oʻahu have affected so many of our people, especially those already facing hardship. Seeing families displaced, communities struggling, and our unhoused neighbors hit the hardest.”
