‘Should be ashamed to call ‘Dhurandhar 2′ propaganda,’ Anupam Kher reviews the film

'Should be ashamed to call 'Dhurandhar 2' propaganda..,' Anupam Kher reviews the film, salutes Ranveer Singh: 'Aditya Dhar kaunsi mitti ke bane ho?'

‘Dhurandhar 2’ has hit the ball out of the park when it comes to the praise and the box office numbers which the film is generating. The Aditya Dhar directorial has also been getting criticism with many accusing it to be a propaganda movie. While many celebs have also reviewed the film, now Anupam Kher has dropped a long video reacting to ‘Dhurandhar 2′. In this video, he can be heard saying, “It’s outstanding. Right from writing, direction, acting, music and it’s a film which makes you feel so proud of your own country. Abhi Aditya Dhar se phone pe baat ki hai and I still had to put this video. The first part when you watch the film, you are shocked that such a film can be made. In the second part you are prepared for the world but you are so engaged.” He further addressed criticism towards the film and said, “People calling it propaganda film, I feel pitty for them. They should be ashamed of themselves. Agar aapse bardaasht nahi hota toh aap bhi aisi film banaa lo. It’s a film which talks about Modern India, apart from how brilliant our agencies are. How meticulously they are doing their job. We are the most fortunate people living in this country.Aditya Dhar kaunsi mitti ke bane ho? Aapko jab main personal life mein milta hu lagta nahi hai but kahin na kahin Kashmiri pandit ka takleef gussa, because. .. We don’t pick weapons but we give answers with our work, I’m including myself. We give answers with our work. How brilliantly he has demolished the opposite country, tark deke ( with logic and justification). Writing is superb, dialogues are superb, camera work is outstanding. Action is outstanding, last 30 minutes of action is breath-taking.” Kher further gave a salute to Ranveer Singh and said, “Ranveer Singh, salute. I’m an acting teacher and run an acting school so for me to really salute someone, it takes a lot of time and conviction. You are outstanding. Baar baar ek hi shabd use kar raha hu kyunki meri hindi medium vocabulary mein ek hi shabd hai outstanding. Shabd jab kam pad jaaye..your body language, your simmering anger, your pain. In 1-2 scenes your pain is so visible and my heart went out to you. Sara Arjun is remarkable. Arjun Rampal, he was remarkable, specially in two scenes, I don’t want to give any spoilers. Madhavan, what a mature performance. You believe in that person. Writing has helped, direction has helped but only R Madhavan could have done this role.” The actor mentioned, “My friend Rakesh Bedi, you are…sone pe suhaga. Aapke end wale scene pe taaliyaan padti hai. Maine seeti maari. I’m so happy you have got this role and you’ve done it amazingly well. Main bolta jaa sakta hu. I feel proud of my country. But mujhe lagaa, hum kitne khuskismat hai. Audience mein log chillaye Jai Hind. Yeh joh ek connection diya hai na aapne…kabhi kabhi cricket match jodte hai. Pehli baar film Hindustaniyon ko jodti hai. Hindustan ki film hai. Koi compromise nahi hai technicalities ke saath, brilliance ke saath. We don’t need to see international, but if I need to give this international award, it will go to you Aditya. Nazar utar lena apni mere dost. Thank you for making this film.” While the actor, director said all this in a video, he also penned a long caption which read, “DHURANDHAR2 IS OUTSTANDING!🏆ADITYA DHAR IS A ROCKSTAR! ❤️🥹Sometimes, words fall short. You walk out of a film… and there’s a silence within you that says everything, yet explains nothing. That’s what watching #Dhurandar felt like. It is not just a film. It is an experience. An emotion. A journey that quietly enters your heart and then refuses to leave. There are moments in Dhurandar’ that don’t just play on screen, they stay with you, long after the lights come on. I have tried to capture what I felt in the video I am sharing along with this post… but honestly, I could have gone on and on.” ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has crossed Rs 330 crore in India on Saturday.
