The mood then shifted as director Aditya Dhar delivered a heartfelt speech and thanked those who stood by the film. He said, “Thanks to those who believed in me, starting from Jyoti Deshpande, and of course, my HODs, my cast members, actors, and everyone who has given their heart and soul to the film. I am overwhelmed with all the responses coming in and even the memes. But I genuinely want to thank everyone for being here, supporting us, and being part of this journey. This wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you so much.”Jyoti Deshpande also praised the director, saying, “He never panics and always gets his way. He’s very, very special.” As Aditya spoke, Yami Gautam turned emotional. When Jyoti and Aditya called for Ranveer Singh, he teased the director by saying, “Yeh ‘gets his way’ wali baat yahan par aakar khatam ho jaati hai (This ‘gets his way’ thing ends when it comes to this person here),” while pointing toward Yami, who laughed through tears. The spy action thriller is the sequel to the 2025 hit ‘Dhurandhar’. Released on March 19, the film explores the backstory of Ranveer Singh’s Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, and follows his fight against a terror network in Pakistan while reshaping the power structure in Lyari. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Rakesh Bedi, and has earned over Rs 190 crore domestically. Go to Source
