Breaking News: Israel Targets Hezbollah Sites in Beirut, Iran Warns Retaliation After Deaths of Top Leaders

Amid the ongoing conflict, Israel has intensified strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, with fresh missile attacks reported in Beirut. In a major strike, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeted a residential apartment allegedly linked to Hezbollah leaders. The building suffered massive destruction, with visuals showing the area reduced to rubble. Meanwhile, tensions escalated further after Iran confirmed the deaths of Basij Force commander Gholam Reza Soleimani and senior official Ali Larijani. Following this, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a strong warning to both United States and Israel, vowing retaliation and stating that the killings would strengthen their resolve. The Basij Force, a paramilitary unit formed in 1979 under Ali Khamenei, plays a key role in Iran’s internal security and operates under the IRGC, with an estimated one million members. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the killings as a major strategic blow to Iran. The situation continues to escalate, with fears of intensified retaliation and prolonged conflict.
