Rajpal Yadav opens up about slapping Akshay Kumar in Bhooth Bangla: 'Akshay bhai hamesha masti karta rehta hai'

Actor Rajpal Yadav recently opened up about a scene in Bhooth Bangla where he slaps Akshay Kumar, a moment that reminded fans of the iconic scene in Bhool Bhulaiyaa where Akshay’s character slapped his popular character Chhota Pandit. When asked if the moment could be seen as a playful form of revenge, Rajpal reacted with excitement and teased the audience about the scene.

Aur jahan pe joh aap scene ki baat kar rahe ho, I hope yeh scene aapko bahut achha lagega,” he told Bollywood Bubble.The actor added that the film promises to be an entertaining experience for viewers.“Yeh film apne aap mein ek alag film hai. Achhi film dekhne ko milegi. Aur iske release hone mein main bahut andar se gadgad hoon.”

“Akshay bhai hamesha masti karta rehta hai”

Rajpal, who has worked with Akshay Kumar in several films over the years, also spoke about the lively atmosphere on the set of Bhooth Bangla.Describing the environment during filming, he said, “Film making apne aap mein ek masti hai. Koi bhi actor–actress, sab log set pe mastikhor, hanste hue sabke chehre dikhne hi chahiye.”Praising Akshay’s playful personality, he added, “Aur masti hona bahut achhi baat hai. Akshay bhai hamesha masti karta rehta hai, ye badi achhi baat hai. Aur hum log ek dusre ki masti mein shaamil hote rehte hain.”At the same time, he noted that once the shoot begins, everyone focuses on their work.“Phir jab ‘silent’ aa jata hai toh sab log silent ho ke kaam bhi karne lagte hain. Toh it’s a part of life, bahut achha lagta hai.”

“Yeh film sabko gudgudayegi aur hansaayegi”

Sharing his excitement about the project, Rajpal said he thoroughly enjoyed working on the film and praised director Priyadarshan.“Karte hue jitna maza aaya tha aur Priyadarshan ji ka vibration dekh ke itna maza aa raha tha… releasing pe bhi bahut achha positive vibration hai ki yeh film sabko achhi lagegi.” He concluded by saying the film will offer laughter and entertainment to audiences.“Sabko achha gudgudayegi, achha hansaayegi aur achha Bhooth Bangla dikhayegi.”Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav, is scheduled to release on April 10, 2026.
