After Nidhhi , Samantha, Kajol mobbed by fans

After Nidhhi Agerwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajol mobbed by fans as security struggles to control the crowd

Kajol recently drew a large crowd of fans while stepping out of an industry event. The actress was exiting the venue with her team when enthusiastic admirers and paparazzi quickly surrounded her.Security personnel had a difficult time managing the crowd as several fans tried to get closer to the actress for photographs and selfies. Despite the rush, Kajol briefly paused to acknowledge a few fans. As reported by News 18, she posed for photos before her team helped guide her through the crowd and toward her car.

Actress impresses with elegant saree look

For the evening event Kajol chose a stylish yet simple traditional look, wearing a sequined green saree paired with a golden blouse. Her hair was styled in a neat high bun that complemented the saree.

Actress speaks about paparazzi culture

Earlier in a 2025 interview with Bollywood Hungama, Kajol spoke about some of the challenges celebrities face due to intense paparazzi attention. Explaining her concerns, the ‘DDLJ’ actress said, “I am a little conscious with the paps. I think there are certain places where they shouldn’t be. Like, I find it very strange when they run after actors at someone’s funeral and ask for photos. I find that odd and a little disrespectful. I find it strange that you cannot even go for lunch.”

Concerns about being followed across the city

Kajol also shared how paparazzi often track celebrities across long distances. According to her, this constant attention can sometimes feel invasive.Speaking about the experience, she said, “They follow you for kilometres—from Juhu to Bandra—to see where I am going and which building I am entering. I find that disturbing.”The actress further pointed out that such behaviour might be considered harassment in other situations. She added that if she were not a public figure, she could have filed a complaint. However, celebrities are often expected to tolerate such situations as part of their profession.

‘Maharagni: Queen of Queens’ to feature Kajol in action role

On the work front, Kajol will soon appear in the upcoming action-thriller ‘Maharagni: Queen of Queens,’ directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. The project features Kajol and also includes prominent actors such as Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah and Samyuktha in important roles. Kajol was last seen in the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Sarzameen’.
