‘I, Nobody’ box office collections day 3: Prithviraj Sukumaran’s thriller sees 9.6% drop; Worldwide gross reaches Rs 8.31 crore

Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu’s investigative thriller ‘I, Nobody’ continued its theatrical journey on its third day. While the film remained steady at the ticket counters, it recorded a slight dip in collections compared to Friday. Despite the decline, the thriller has managed to cross the Rs 8 crore mark worldwide within three days of release.According to Sacnilk, ‘I, Nobody’ earned an estimated Rs 1.13 crore net in India on Day 3. The figure marks a 9.6% drop from the film’s Day 2 net collection of Rs 1.25 crore.

India and worldwide collection so far

The Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer has taken its total India net collection to Rs 4.58 crore. The film’s India gross collection now stands at Rs 5.31 crore. On Saturday, the thriller was screened across 1,315 shows nationwide.The film has collected Rs 3 crore gross from international markets so far. Occupancy improves during night shows

The Malayalam version of ‘I, Nobody’ registered an overall occupancy of 25.46% on Day 3. Evening and night shows continued to attract more audiences than the morning screenings.The occupancy breakup for Saturday is as follows:Morning: 11.92%Afternoon: 24.92%Evening: 26.75%Night: 35.50%The night shows emerged as the strongest performer.

Anurag Kashyap praises the thriller

Apart from its box office performance, ‘I, Nobody’ has also received appreciation from filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Shortly after watching the film, the director shared his thoughts on the film discovery platform Letterboxd.Praising the thriller, Anurag Kashyap wrote, “Loved it. Keeps you hooked from beginning to end. It’s more mainstream and thrilling. Only thing that bothered me but I think the audience will enjoy is a common man fighting so many goons at the same time.
