War Update: Iran Launches 54th Missile Wave as Sejjil missile Targets Israel

The escalating conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States has entered a more dangerous phase as Tehran launches its 54th wave of missile and drone attacks. According to Iranian military statements, hundreds of missiles and thousands of drones have already been deployed since the start of the conflict on February 28, marking one of the largest aerial assault campaigns in recent regional history. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed that Israeli military and defense facilities are primary targets of the latest strikes. In a significant escalation, Iran has reportedly used the powerful Sejjil missile for the first time in the current conflict. The solid-fuel ballistic missile has a range of up to 2,500 kilometers and can carry a warhead weighing around 700 kilograms while traveling at extremely high speeds capable of evading radar systems. Iran claims it has fired around 700 missiles and deployed nearly 3,600 drones so far in the war. Meanwhile, Israeli officials say the conflict is far from over. The Israel Defense Forces signaled that additional large-scale strikes against Iranian targets could continue for up to three more weeks as the military campaign intensifies. The widening missile exchanges highlight the growing risk of a prolonged regional war with global security implications.
