Recap of ‘One Piece’ season 1

The first season of the beloved OTT show focuses on Luffy gathering his band of misfit pirate crew to go to the Grand Line. Nami, who is played by Emily Rudd, is the first one to join the crew, after which, pirate hunter and swordsman Roronoa Zoro also joins the crew after being rescued by them. Jacob Romero’s Usopp comes next, who is taken in by the crew. Lastly, Chef Sanji joins the crew as they come across him at a restaurant.The final episode of the first season reveals a showdown between the newly assembled group of pirates and a group of fishmen. Later, they are betrayed by none other than Nami, who had been working with the Fishmen from the get-go. As they face off with Arlong, the crew also learns that the man is responsible for Nami’s mother’s death.

As soon as all of the episodes of ‘One Piece’ season 2 were released online on OTT, fans of the show could not stop raving about them. The premise of the second season is based on the group of misfits known as the Straw Hat Pirates as they set sail to the Grand Line. The Baroque Works agents are back to work again this season, along with new villains and a showdown with Sir Crocodile. The second season also introduces a beloved new character from the anime known as Tony Tony Chopper, as well.
