‘Avengers: Doomsday’: Lewis Pullman teases unexpected pairings

'Avengers: Doomsday' star Lewis Pullman assures 25 superhero appearances will NOT be 'cameos'

Lewis Pullman on superhero appearances

In an interview with Esquire, Pullman addressed buzz and fan concern over the film’s huge star cast, reportedly featuring 25 superheroes. Speaking about the upcoming film, he said, “It’s going back to the serum of the human archetypes that our art is built off of.” He went on to insist, “Every character has their moment that builds the dimensions of them. The Russo brothers did that so well. They do not want anyone just sitting in the background.”

Lewis Pullman teases unexpected pairings

The actor also teased that fans can expect to see some rather unexpected pairings in the film. There’s a lot of really exciting pair-ups that happen.” Pullman added, “a lot of fans will be really excited. It’s so fun to dream about. What if A and B would work together? Would B and D would work together? You get to see a lot of those fantasies come into fruition.”The film, directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, will see the duo taking over the reins after delivering back-to-back blockbusters with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
