Exclusive Interview: Khamenei’s India Representative Questions Motive Behind US–Iran Conflict

In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, National Bureau Chief Ashish Singh spoke with Dr. Abdul Majeed Hakim Elahi, the representative in India of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. During the discussion, Dr. Elahi raised serious questions about the real motives behind the ongoing tensions involving Iran and the United States. He alleged that the conflict is being used as a pretext to dispose of old weapons and generate billions of dollars in profits through the global arms trade. According to him, the war may not just be about nuclear concerns but could also be linked to attempts to control Iran’s vast oil and gas resources. Dr. Elahi further claimed that attacks are not being launched directly from the United States, such as from New York, but from territories of countries neighboring Iran. He questioned whether these neighboring states are indirectly contributing to the destruction caused by the conflict. Speaking about Ali Khamenei, he shared that the Iranian leader had vowed he would not move to a bunker until shelters were built for nearly 19 million Iranian citizens. He also spoke about Khamenei’s simple lifestyle and claimed that even his sons live without personal luxury. On nuclear weapons, he said that according to Iran’s leadership they are considered “haram” (forbidden), responding to claims made during the era of Donald Trump about Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Dr. Elahi concluded the interview by sharing what he described as Iran’s final message and the hidden truths behind the conflict.
