‘Force 3’ goes on floors in Gujarat

'Force 3' goes on floors in Gujarat; Harshvardhan Rane begins shoot with Tanya Maniktala, John Abraham joins mahurat ceremony

The most awaited action flick ‘Force 3’ has officially gone on floors in Gujarat and the third instalment of the popular franchise stars Harshvardhan Rane, John Abraham, and Tanya Maniktala in key roles. Bhav Dhulia, known for his work on the web series ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’, is directing the film. The team recently began shooting after performing a traditional puja ceremony to mark the project’s start. The first schedule has already begun in Gujarat, where the opening scenes are currently being filmed. Interestingly, the early part of the schedule focuses on sequences featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala.

John Abraham attends Muhurat but not in the first schedule’s scenes

As reported by OTT Play, John Abraham was present during the film’s mahurat ceremony but has not yet started shooting his scenes. The actor attended the launch event along with the rest of the cast and crew. However, the ongoing schedule does not include his scenes at the moment. Instead, production has started filming sequences focusing on Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala.John Abraham is expected to join the shoot soon and begin filming his portions in the coming days. Fans are particularly excited about the action sequences that will eventually feature both actors.

Harshvardhan Rane and John Abraham share a special connection

One interesting aspect of the project is the personal bond between Harshvardhan Rane and John Abraham who share a warm relationship dating back to the early days of Harshvardhan’s career. During his struggling phase in the industry, John Abraham reportedly encouraged and supported him. Because of that experience, Harshvardhan considers John one of his mentors in Bollywood. Before ‘Force 3’, Harshvardhan had already worked in the film ‘Tara vs Bilal’ which John Abraham produced. In the third instalment, John Abraham is expected to reprise his role as ACP Yashvardhan Singh. The film was initially expected to begin production by the end of 2025, but the project eventually went on floors in early 2026. Reports suggest the storyline may follow the tone and style of the original *Force* film rather than its sequel. After impressing the audiences with his fierce avatar in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’, John Abraham’s fans are eagerly waiting for him to return to a tough role in ‘Force 3’.
