Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, revealed that he watched the film Dhurandhar before arriving in India, following a recommendation from his son. Stubb, who is currently in Mumbai as part of his India visit, shared that he appreciated the film’s theme of fighting terrorism and is now looking forward to watching its sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

Interestingly, Stubb’s remark came on the same day the trailer of the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, was officially released.The trailer offers a glimpse into the next chapter of director Aditya Dhar’s expanding spy-thriller universe, promising a more intense and action-packed narrative.

Ranveer Singh returns in ‘beast mode’

The sequel sees Ranveer Singh returning with greater intensity as the story moves into a high-octane revenge arc. Sharing the trailer on Instagram, the actor hinted that the next instalment would push his character into more personal territory.The three-minute trailer shows Ranveer appearing in dual avatars — Jaskirat and Hamza — with the story promising a gripping mix of action, emotion and vengeance. The film also features R Madhavan as strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam.The tagline “Honsla. Eendhan. Badla.” hints at the revenge-driven narrative that will propel the sequel forward when it releases on March 19.
