Shahid Kapoor’s 'Cocktail 2' teaser to premiere with Ranveer Singh’s 'Dhurandhar 2'; triple treat for fans in March

March brings a triple treat for movie lovers! Ranveer Singh’s spy-action flick ‘Dhurandhar 2’ releases March 19, with its trailer on March 7. Adding to the excitement, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Cocktail 2’ teaser will premiere alongside ‘Dhurandhar 2’, showcasing Shahid in a fresh look for the September 2026 sequel. Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’ also adds to the cinematic feast.

This March, moviegoers are in for a cinematic treat. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 is set to hit screens on March 19, promising a thrilling spy-action extravaganza. The trailer drops on March 7 at 11:01 AM, confirmed by Ranveer himself, teasing fans with his intense new look and high-octane action. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it a true pan-India spectacle just in time for Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.

Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Cocktail 2’ teaser joins the fun

Adding to the excitement, Pinkvilla reports that the teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Cocktail 2’ will premiere alongside ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in theatres. The sequel to the 2012 hit ‘Cocktail’ sees Shahid return in a fresh avatar alongside Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. The teaser will present fans with Shahid in a brand new look and will generate the hype towards the film scheduled to be released in September 2026.

Planned gap ensures maximum impact

According to trade sources via Mid Day, the six-month gap between Shahid’s previous release ‘O’ Romeo’ and ‘Cocktail 2’ was deliberate. “The gap was very consciously planned. ‘O’ Romeo’ and ‘Cocktail 2’ are very different films, and no one wanted them stepping on each other’s toes. Six months gives Shahid the space to arrive with a new energy and image,” said a source. This strategy ensures audiences can fully embrace Shahid’s character without confusion, maximizing excitement for the sequel.

Raja Shivaji on the big screen

Fans got a glimpse of the cinematic extravaganza ‘Raja Shivaji’ with ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Led by Riteish Deshmukh, who is also the director, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, and Sanjay Dutt among others. The Marathi pan-India film, set to release on 1st May, adds to the excitement. With ‘Dhurandhar 2’, ‘Cocktail 2’ and ‘Raja Shivaji’ thrilling viewers, March will be an exciting month for film buffs.
