Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, a premium version of its flagship electric SUV, priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). According to the company’s statement, bookings for the model will open on March 2, 2026, with deliveries scheduled to begin from March 10.

The Cineluxe Edition builds on the top-spec Pack Three variant of the XEV 9e and is positioned as a more exclusive offering focused on luxury, in-cabin technology and design upgrades.

The special edition is available in two new exterior finishes — Satin Black and Satin White — paired with Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black leatherette interiors. According to the company, the cabin has been designed to offer a lounge-like experience with premium materials and curated textures.

Key features

A key highlight of the model is its entertainment-focused interior. The SUV features a coast-to-coast triple HD display and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos support. It also comes equipped with an “Infinity Roof” and ambient lighting system capable of offering over 16 million colour combinations.

Mahindra said the design and technology package aims to create a more immersive in-car experience, positioning the vehicle as a luxury electric SUV targeted at premium customers.

The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack, delivering a real-world driving range of over 500 km. The company said the vehicle is designed to combine long-distance usability with premium comfort features.

Along with its exclusive design elements, the Cineluxe Edition includes the full suite of advanced features offered in the Pack Three variant. These include the StraightAhead VisionX augmented reality heads-up display, driver and occupant monitoring through the EyeDentity system, HandsFree Park (Auto Park Assist), and Secure360 safety features.

The vehicle also introduces additional software-based capabilities such as Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes, customisable drive modes, a digital key system, Secure360 Pro and personalised user profiles.

Mahindra first unveiled the XEV 9e globally in November 2024 as part of its new electric SUV portfolio. The model has since received multiple recognitions, including the Green Car of the Year award at the ICOTY 2026 awards.
