New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India on Sunday reported largely flat domestic sales in February 2026, with dispatches including sales to OEMs inching up marginally to 1,74,840 units compared with 1,74,379 units in the same month last year.

Total sales for the month stood at 2,13,995 units, marking a 7.31 per cent year-on-year increase from 1,99,400 units sold in February 2025, according to the company’s monthly sales update.

Exports continued to be a key growth driver for the automaker during the month. Overseas shipments rose 56.48 per cent year-on-year to 39,155 units, compared with 25,021 units in February last year.

Segment-wise performance

Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 1,61,000 units in February, while light commercial vehicle (LCV) sales were reported at 3,130 units. Combined domestic sales, including LCVs, reached 1,64,130 units during the month.

Sales to other OEMs accounted for 10,710 units.

In terms of segment performance, mini and compact cars together contributed 76,624 units to the company’s total domestic sales. Utility vehicles recorded sales of 72,756 units, reflecting sustained demand in the segment.

Van sales stood at 11,162 units during the month, while the company reported no sales in the mid-size sedan segment.

The overall performance indicates steady demand in the domestic market, with strong export growth helping support Maruti Suzuki’s total sales momentum during the month.
