New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India on Sunday reported a 9.8 per cent year-on-year YoY increase in its domestic sales for the February month, with 52,407 units sold during the month. This marks the highest-ever domestic tally for February.

The company’s total dispatches rose 12.6 per cent YoY to 66,134 units in February 2026.

Exports rose 24.8 per cent year-on-year to 13,727 units, according to the company’s statement.

The automaker said the combined performance of domestic and overseas markets helped it achieve its best-ever February sales since it began operations in India.

Commenting on the performance, Tarun Garg, managing director and chief executive officer of Hyundai Motor India, said the company has started the year on a strong note after achieving record monthly sales in January.

“We kicked off 2026 on a high note achieving our highest-ever monthly sales in January and the momentum continues in February. With total sales (domestic plus exports) of 66,134 units, the highest for any February in our history, we posted a robust growth of 12.6 per cent year-on-year,” Garg said.

He added that domestic sales also reached a new February record.

“This includes domestic sales of 52,407 units, also the highest-ever February sales since inception. As we approach completing 30 years in our great country, our ambition is very clear – to make cutting-edge connected technology accessible to all while elevating every ownership experience and carrying the spirit of Hyundai from India to the world,” Garg said.

Hyundai Motor India is one of the country’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturers and a key export hub for its South Korean parent. The company exports vehicles to multiple global markets from its manufacturing base in India.
