Neeru Bajwa: I am humble, but have immense self-respect

Birthday special! Neeru Bajwa channels her inner queen as she says, ‘I love myself…I am humble, but have immense self-respect - Exclusive

The Punjabi Juliet who inspired ‘Shayar,’ the ‘Channo’ who stopped at nothing, and the diva who embraces her ‘Phaphey Kuttiniyan’ vibe and is talked about in Pollywood, Bollywood, and Hollywood has turned a year older today. We are talking about Neeru Bajwa, who is most popularly called the OG Pollywood Queen. And when, during our recent conversation with her, we asked Neeru Bajwa what makes her feel like a queen, she summed it up in a simple yet impactful reply. Read on to know what the actress said.

Neeru Bajwa feels like a queen because of self-love

“I love myself, I have immense self-respect,” shared the actress, before adding, “I am very humble, but I have immense self-respect and dignity.” The ‘Jatt & Juliet’ actress has often taken to her social media handle to highlight the importance of self-love and motivate her fans to practice the same.

Neeru Bajwa says there’s no flip side to being honest and unapologetically herself

On various occasions, Neeru Bajwa has said that she doesn’t like putting on any facade. The actress believes in being authentic and says that this is who she is, ‘take it or leave it.’ She even feels that there’s no flip side to being bluntly honest as well. “I don’t feel like justifying myself. I do what I feel is right, and I sleep peacefully.” “I feel just stay true to yourself. So no matter what anyone says, it doesn’t matter,” she quoted.

Neeru Bajwa on her latest release ‘Phaphey Kuttniyan’

This Friday, i.e., on August 22nd, Neeru Bajwa made it to the big screen with her latest release ‘Phaphey Kuttniyan.’ Inspired by true crime stories, the movie features Neeru Bajwa and Tania in the lead, scamming people with their unique style. This is yet another movie of the actress wherein the heroine is the hero of the movie. Speaking about the same, she said, “Though I have played several strong roles, it feels nice to take charge.” “Otherwise, as heroines, we have to stand there mute, and only the hero knows what to say,” she laughed.“It was nice to see that the writer really believed in the female protagonists, in both the characters, such beautifully etched characters, with so many layers. You feel like you know them, but you keep peeling and peeling,” concluded the actress.

Neeru Bajwa’s latest movies

This year has been quite busy for Neeru Bajwa. As mentioned earlier, she recently made her debut on the big screen with ‘Phaphey Kuttniyan,’ and just before its release, she was seen in the John Abraham starrer ‘Tehran.’ She also played a special role as ‘Dimple’ in Ajay Devgn’s comedy film ‘Son of Sardaar 2.’
