Breaking News: Keshav Prasad Maurya Denied UK Visa, Holds Investor Talks from Germany

A major development has emerged as Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was reportedly denied a visa by the United Kingdom during his official overseas visit. Despite receiving the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Government of India, the UK visa was not granted. The exact reason for the denial remains unclear. Maurya had departed from Lucknow along with a delegation that included Uttar Pradesh Minister Sunil Sharma and senior officials for visits to Germany and the United Kingdom. While in Germany, he held meetings with industrialists and investors and reportedly secured significant investment proposals for Uttar Pradesh. Since he could not travel to the UK, Maurya conducted virtual meetings from Germany with British investors he was scheduled to meet in person. Reports indicate that investment proposals worth over ₹100 crore were discussed and received positively. He is now expected to return to Lucknow from Germany. Further clarification regarding the visa issue is awaited.
