Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues his official visit to Israel, with the second day centered on high-level bilateral engagements. PM Modi is scheduled to hold crucial talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where discussions are expected to cover strategic cooperation, defense collaboration, technology partnerships, agriculture innovation, and regional security issues. In addition to his meeting with Netanyahu, the Prime Minister will also call on Israeli President Isaac Herzog. The engagements aim to further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Israel, a relationship that has expanded significantly in recent years across sectors such as cybersecurity, water management, start-up innovation, and counter-terror cooperation. Officials indicate that the talks may also explore new investment opportunities and joint research initiatives, strengthening people-to-people ties and economic collaboration. PM Modi’s visit is being closely watched globally, given the evolving geopolitical landscape in West Asia. The outcomes of the meetings are expected to shape the next phase of India–Israel diplomatic and strategic engagement.
