Sunita: Yashvardhan is doing a better film than Saiyaara

Amid divorce rumors with Govinda, Sunita Ahuja says son Yashvardhan is doing a better film than Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara, reviews Rasha Thadani’s debut: 'Sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye'

Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the spotlight recently after reports claimed that Sunita had filed for divorce in December last year, allegedly citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion. However, the rumors were quickly dismissed by Govinda’s manager as well as the couple’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, who clarified that the reports were baseless, though confirming that Sunita did file for a divorce seven months ago but everything is getting settled.

Sunita on Yashvardhan Ahuja’s Bollywood debut

While amid the chatter around her marriage, Sunita spoke about her son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s much-anticipated entry into Bollywood. In a recent interview with Eat Travel Repeat, she reacted to a fan’s comment that read: “Yashvardhan itna handsome hai. Saiyaara mein usse hi hona chahiye tha.” (Yashvardhan is so handsome, he should have been in Saiyaara.)Responding with a smile, Sunita said, “I wish. But usse better picture kar raha hai Yash.” She revealed that while she hasn’t yet watched Ahaan Panday’s debut film Saiyaara, Yashvardhan has already seen it twice. “Maine abhi tak dekhi nahi hai. Yash ne do baar dekhi hai. Main dekhungi, mujhe dekhna hai. But abhi 14 tareek ko shayad aa raha hai naa Netflix pe (laughs). But good good. Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want ki sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye.” (I haven’t watched it yet. Yash has seen it twice. I will watch it, I want to watch it. Maybe it’s coming on Netflix on the 14th, right? [laughs]. But good, good. Best of luck to all the kids who are stepping in. I wish they all achieve great success.)

Bond with Rasha Thadani

Speaking about Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, Sunita shared, “Yash ke saath hai uska. I have not met her still, like ‘met her’ met her. But Raveena ne mujhe phone ki thi, trial mein aane ke liye. Main Jaipur mein thi, Khatu Shyam. Main pooja kar rahi thi. Toh I told her I couldn’t come. But maine theatre mein jaake dekhi picture, achhi lagi mujhe. She’s a sweet girl. Raveena ka bachpan yaad aata hai.” (She is close to Yash. I haven’t really met her properly yet. But Raveena had called me for the trial. At that time, I was in Jaipur at Khatu Shyam, doing a pooja. So I told her I couldn’t attend. But I went to the theatre to watch the film later, and I liked it. She’s a sweet girl. She reminds me of Raveena’s childhood.)While Ahaan Panday became an overnight sensation with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, Rasha Thadani earned praise with her performance in Azaad. Yashvardhan Ahuja is now preparing for his big Bollywood debut in the Hindi remake of filmmaker Sai Rajesh’s acclaimed Telugu film Baby (2023). Go to Source
