Crime Alert: Firing on Lawrence Bishnoi Lawyer’s Car Near Kashmere Gate, One Injured in Delhi Attack

Panic gripped North Delhi after unidentified assailants opened fire on the car of an advocate linked to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi near Kashmere Gate late Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 10:15 PM when Advocate Deepak Khatri and four associates were leaving the Hanuman Temple area and heading towards ISBT Kashmere Gate. According to preliminary information, three attackers on a scooter allegedly chased the vehicle, and one of them fired approximately four rounds. A bullet pierced through the rear glass of the car, striking one occupant, identified as Sandeep, in the shoulder. He was rushed to a hospital and is reported to be out of danger. Teams from Delhi Police reached the spot soon after being alerted. CCTV footage from surrounding areas is being scanned, and statements of those present in the vehicle are being recorded. Investigators are probing whether the attack was intended as intimidation, retaliation, or a targeted warning. No group has claimed responsibility so far.
