Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to tie the knot in Udaipur on February 26, celebrating with both Telugu and Kodava traditions. An unconventional cricket bash kicked off their pre-wedding festivities, followed by intimate family ceremonies. A grand reception for industry friends is planned for March 4, 2026, at Taj Krishna.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have officially confirmed their upcoming wedding.The much-celebrated pair announced that they will marry in an intimate ceremony at Udaipur on February 26. Reports now indicate that the couple will hold two wedding ceremonies on the same day.

Telugu and Kodava traditions to be honoured

Reports from Filmibeat says that the first ceremony will follow traditional Telugu Hindu rituals honouring the groom’s heritage. This event is scheduled for the morning of February 26. Later in the evening the couple will marry again in a traditional Kodava ceremony. . Although the wedding is grand in spirit the couple is maintaining a tight guest list. Only immediate family members and a few close friends have been invited. Reports say that no actors will be part of the wedding invitations.

Pre-wedding events begin with unconventional bash

Before the official ceremonies Vijay and Rashmika kick-started their celebrations with an unconventional pre-wedding cricket bash. This lively event featured both families and is said to be followed by other unique pre-wedding celebrations planned by the couple. These non-traditional events will later transition into classic ceremonies such as the mehendi and sangeet.

Reception details

Although the wedding itself is private the couple is preparing a grand reception for their industry colleagues. This event will take place at Taj Krishna on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The reception is expected to be star-studded, as both Vijay and Rashmika share strong friendships across the Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi film industries.The couple made their relationship official and addressed fans through a heartfelt social-media note. They wrote: “Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves— you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today — with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it — ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us — always.
