Ford to recall 413,000 SUVs in US.Ford is recalling 412,774 Explorer SUVs in the US, citing an issue with rear suspension toe links, which may fracture, leading to a loss of steering control, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.
The regulator suggested that the dealers replace the toe links free of charge as a remedy for the affected vehicles.
Separately, Ford will also recall an additional 40,655 vehicles in the US over battery failures and defects with brake pedals, which increase the risk of a crash.
