Hailee Steinfeld talks about how she is prepping for giving birth

Steinfeld regularly updates her official newsletter with glimpses of her everyday life. In a recent post shared with subscribers on February 20, the star revealed she is going full steam ahead with preparations to welcome her and Josh Allen’s first baby home. “Of course, I have all the to-do lists (which you know I love), and I’ve been busy with research and the general life reorganization that happens when you’re about to have a baby,” she quipped. The singer also shared that the reality of the situation hit her randomly while she was resting on her couch. However, she shared that the most important part of the situation was having regular conversations with herself about random yet important questions such as what she will be like as a mom. She added, “But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day.” Other than the conversations, the star also shared that she often has daydreams of her baby arriving and “what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together,” referring to Allen and how they will be as parents. She concluded the post by sharing that she has no words to describe the experience and the thought of welcoming the third member of their family whom they both already love so much.
