A major terror threat has reportedly emerged in the national capital, Delhi. Intelligence agencies have issued an alert warning that the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba may be planning an IED attack in crowded areas of Old Delhi. According to inputs, the group is allegedly targeting a prominent temple in Chandni Chowk and areas surrounding the Red Fort. Reports suggest the attackers aim to carry out the strike as retaliation for a past blast in Islamabad. Following the alert, Delhi Police has intensified security arrangements across Chandni Chowk and other parts of Old Delhi. Additional forces have been deployed, surveillance has been strengthened, and thorough checking operations are underway to prevent any untoward incident.
