According to the report, the film, which was released only in Hindi, grossed Rs 2.68 crore on the day. It managed to rake in these numbers from 2,968 shows, registering an average occupancy of 9.6%.O’ Romeo worldwide box office collectionsThe report further states that after a strong opening with double-digit figures last week, the film has collected an all-India net total of Rs 49.35 crore, while its gross domestic total stands at Rs 58.15 crore. With overseas collections of Rs 17 crore added to the tally, the film’s worldwide gross has now reached an estimated Rs 75.15 crore.’O Romeo’ has emerged as Shahid’s biggest opener since the COVID-19 pandemic, with a net collection of Rs 30 crore in its debut weekend. The actor’s earlier releases also posted decent openings with 2024’s romantic comedy ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ earning Rs 27.10 crore net in its opening weekend, while ‘Deva’ scored Rs 19.15 crore net over its first three days. The film has seen a steady decline during the regular working week. After collecting around Rs 30 crore net in its first three days at the box office, indicating a strong start, the numbers saw a steady decline. Collections dropped to Rs 4.85 crore on its first Monday and continued to dip further through the week.The long-term performance of ‘O Romeo’ will now depend on weekday trends and audience word of mouth. While its worldwide gross may inch closer to the Rs 100 crore mark, it remains to be seen whether the India net collections can cross that milestone.The film currently ranks sixth among Shahid Kapoor’s highest-grossing films to date. So far, only ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Padmaavat’ have crossed the Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore mark, respectively.
