'BMW' OTT release: When and where to stream Ravi Teja's comedy entertainer

Ravi Teja’s comedy entertainer, ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ (BMW), is now available on Zee5 after a successful theatrical run. Initially slated for February 13, 2026, the film premiered on February 20, 2026, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ which is popularly known as ‘BMW’ is finally gearing up for its digital debut following a successful theatrical outing earlier this year. Led by mass entertainer Ravi Teja and directed by Kishore Tirumala the film hit cinemas in January 2026 as a Makar Sankranti special. It performed reasonably well at the box office and offered and now the reports say that the comedy entertainer is set for OTT release

New premiere date

The post-theatrical rights for the comedy-drama have been acquired by Zee5. Initially, the film was expected to drop on the platform on February 13, 2026 but the date was pushed back for undisclosed reasons. Now according to updated reports from Sunday Guardian Live, ‘BMW’ has started streaming on the same platform on Friday, February 20, 2026.The film will be available in 5 languages such as Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

A familiar plot

The story centres on Ram Sathyanarayana who is a liquor businessman played by Ravi Teja. He navigates a comedic chaos-filled life while juggling two women who are his wife Balamani played by Dimple Hayati and Manasa portrayed by Ashika Ranganath. The narrative builds on a classic comedy-of-errors setup and offers much fun for the audiences.

Our critic call It ‘Works in parts’

The ETimes review offers a balanced take on the film by noting, “Vennela Kishore, Sunil, and Muralidhar shoulder much of the comic load and succeed in generating laughs, though some stretches feel extended, with jokes occasionally leaning on current trends rather than organic humour.”The review further adds, “Comedian Satya fares well in the first half but has little impact later. Overall, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi works in parts, largely because of its comedy. With a thin storyline and an uneven second half, it remains an average, one-time watch.”BMW’s mix of family-friendly humour and festival-paced storytelling is expected to find more audiences after it’s OTT release.
