Maha Shivratri is being celebrated with immense devotion across India and Nepal. Major temples are beautifully decorated, and lakhs of devotees have gathered for prayers and rituals. The Somnath Temple and the Lingaraj Temple are glowing with festive decorations. In Varanasi, an ocean of devotees has thronged the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where the entire city is immersed in spiritual fervor. In Junagadh, heavy crowds were seen at the ancient Bhavnath Mahadev Temple. Across the border in Nepal, devotees lined up since early morning at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple for worship. At the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, grand celebrations and the famous Bhasma Aarti were performed after the Panchamrit ritual.
