Renault India has launched the new Kiger with more than 35 enhancements across design, technology, performance and safety. Prices start at ₹6.29 lakh for the naturally aspirated trims and go up to ₹11.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top turbocharged CVT variant.

The updated Kiger features a refreshed exterior with a new grille, sculpted hood, redesigned bumpers, LED headlamps and taillamps, along with new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, it gets a dual-tone dashboard, ventilated leatherette seats, upgraded upholstery and improved cabin insulation.

On the technology front, the SUV comes equipped with a multi-view camera, wireless smartphone connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system paired with a premium ARKAMYS 3D surround sound system.

Features

Performance is powered by a 100 PS turbocharged engine, offering best-in-segment torque-to-weight ratio and fuel efficiency of 20.38 kmpl, along with multiple transmission options including manual, AMT, and CVT. The SUV also continues to offer a naturally aspirated engine option.

Safety has been significantly bolstered with 21 standard features, including six airbags, ESP, traction control, hill start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and three-point seat belts across all seats.

The new Kiger is available in two new colour options; oasis yellow and shadow grey along with existing shades.

Venkatram Mamillapalle, MD & CEO, Renault India, said the launch reaffirms the brand’s commitment to bringing expressive design and real-world performance to Indian customers, adding that the compact SUV segment contributes 50 per cent of SUV sales in the country.
