India in Shock: Crime, Negligence, and Viral Stunts Spark National Outrage | ABP NEWS

From fake medicine rackets to fatal stunts, shocking incidents across India have raised serious concerns about public safety, governance, and social responsibility. In Agra, a massive fake medicine racket was busted by the STF and Drug Department, seizing drugs worth over ₹2.5 crore. The accused, owner of Hema Medico, even tried to bribe officers with ₹1 crore before being arrested. Meanwhile in Indore, a municipal garbage truck ran over a woman and her two daughters. CCTV footage showed the driver losing control and fleeing the scene. Fortunately, the victims survived with minor injuries. Uttar Pradesh saw multiple incidents of street crime, including phone and chain snatching in broad daylight in Jalaun and Meerut. Viral videos captured these thefts, exposing rising lawlessness. In Gorakhpur and on highways elsewhere, youth risking lives for social media fame continue to shock the nation. One teen was fined ₹28,500 for a dangerous stunt on a moving Scorpio, while a couple in Gorakhpur faced backlash for indecent bike stunts. Adding to the concern, Madhya Pradesh reported 36 tiger deaths in just 8 months — the highest in the country — raising alarms on wildlife protection. From crime to carelessness, India’s headlines today reflect a disturbing trend of risk and recklessness.
