Veteran actor Prakash Raj has officially debunked rumors of his exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ due to creative differences. He clarified that filming for his scenes hasn’t even commenced, and speculation are rife that he walked out of the project. He dismissed the ‘fake news’ as baseless speculation. The highly anticipated film stars Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, with its first look recently unveiled.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Spirit’ has been making headlines ever since its announcement. After reports that Triptii Dimri replaced Deepika Padukone in the Prabhas starrer, there were speculations that veteran actor Prakash Raj walked out due to creative differences. But is it true? Prakash Raj himself has responded to these speculations. In a note shared on his X (formerly Twitter) timeline on Monday, February 9, the actor dismissed the rumors and added that they haven’t even begun filming his scenes.

Multiple reports earlier claimed that Prakash Raj wasn’t happy with the execution of a particular scene in the film, resulting in his exit. Talking to Bombay Times, he dismissed the speculations and said, “Some nonsense speculations… I’m not aware of it.”

‘Spirit’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is one of the most anticipated upcoming films. Mounted on a massive budget, the film features Prabhas in the lead role. In November 2025, the film went on floors with a puja ceremony. The director dropped a photo of Prabhas’ hands holding a clapboard during the switch-on ceremony, and captioned it, “Dear fans… I thought PRABHAS anna’s hands were enough to EXCITE YOU ALL…. .. So on this muhurath day, I’m posting this for you — with gratitude and love. SPIRIT.”On the occasion of the New Year, the first look was unveiled. The poster featured Prabhas and Triptii Dimri. Prabhas was seen shirtless, with his bruised back facing the camera, holding a glass of alcohol. Triptii Dimri was seen lighting a cigarette for him.
