Major Accident: Speeding truck breaks railing, falls onto service road on Jaipur–Ajmer Highway

Several alarming incidents were reported from different states, highlighting road safety issues, stray animal menace, and law-and-order challenges. In Rajasthan, a major accident was narrowly avoided on the Jaipur–Ajmer Express Highway when a speeding truck lost control near Dadi Ka Phatak bridge. The truck broke the highway railing and fell nearly 20 feet down onto the service road. Fortunately, no vehicle or pedestrian was passing below at the time, preventing a major tragedy. The truck driver and helper sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized. CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced, showing the truck going out of control while attempting to overtake another vehicle. In Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district, a fight between two bulls on a busy road caused chaos. A bike-riding couple was caught in the clash and suffered serious injuries after being hit and thrown to the ground. The incident, which occurred in Dabra, has gone viral on social media and once again raised concerns over stray cattle menace. In Ajmer, Rajasthan, a woman narrowly escaped death at the railway station while trying to get down from a moving train. She slipped and got trapped between the train and platform but was rescued in time by a woman police constable, Sunil Kumari. The injured woman is currently stable in the ICU.
