Karan Aujla reveals his desire to move to India

Punjabi singer Karan Aujla reveals his desire to move to India; lists potential risks and chances: 'I have seen bullets...'

Punjabi singer Karan Aujla revealed his desire to move back to India after packing his bags for Dubai in 2023; however, he shared his concerns about the increasing threats that lurk like a shadow behind him. The 28-year-old might have left the Indian borders with family for a safer space, but he claimed to have his heart stuck in Punjab.

Karan Aujla reveals his long-lost desire

Aujla shifted from Vancouver, Canada, to Dubai, UAE, in 2023, where he currently resides. However, during his frequent visits to India, the ‘Tauba Tauba’ singer reserves his hope for living a life in his hometown of Ludhiana, Punjab. Recounting his decision, the artist pointed out that he had been viciously targeted with arms and dangerous weapons, making his residence riskier. “A lot of people walk with security and bouncers for the flash,” Aujla told The Hollywood Reporter, before adding, “That’s not true in my case. It’s for the safety aspect. I have actually been through stuff. I have been targeted. I have seen bullets go through my windows. It’s not about making a show of carrying a weapon.”

Furthermore, Aujla claimed that it feels impossible to make his wish come true at the moment, but he hopes to move to India in the near future. Speaking about the fear, the ‘Winning Speech’ singer said that he doesn’t want to indulge in the factors that would lead to potential risks. Stating that he would rather take precautions, he said, “There’s so much stuff that’s happened in the past. People have died for real. So it’s not a joke. I’m trying not to let any of that disturb my happy life.”

The dream collaboration list

Meanwhile, Karan Aujla opened up about his dream collaboration list, which includes Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole, and even Jay-Z. When asked about any Punjabi collaborator he dreamt of having, he said the late Soni Pabla, if he were still alive.
