Ram-Upasana welcome twins; Chiranjeevi shares the happy news

'It's a baby boy and a baby girl': Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela welcome twins; Chiranjeevi shares the happy news

Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are now parents of three. The couple welcomed twins—a baby boy and a baby girl—on Saturday, a development that was officially confirmed by Chiranjeevi on social media. Announcing the update, Chiranjeevi wrote, “With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes – Chiranjeevi & Surekha.” Speculation about the twins began during Diwali 2025, when Upasana shared a video from her Seemantham (baby shower), subtly hinting at the news. “This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings,” she wrote at the time. The family later confirmed the pregnancy, expressing excitement over the new additions.

From longtime friends to parents of three

Ram Charan and Upasana had known each other for years and were friends before they began dating. The two married in June 2012 after getting engaged in December 2011. In June 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Klin Kaara. And now, with the arrival of their twins—a baby boy and a baby girl—Ram and Upasana have become proud parents of three.Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C Reddy, founder of Apollo Hospitals, while Ram is the son of megastar Chiranjeevi.
