UAE to host six major international summits and events in February

UAE hosts summits, expos and sporting events across February in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

The United Arab Emirates is set to host six major international events through February, spanning governance, tolerance, education, digital trade, healthcare innovation and global sport. The packed schedule brings thousands of leaders, experts and participants to the country, reinforcing the UAE’s role as a convening hub for global dialogue and large-scale international gatherings.The centrepiece of the month is the World Governments Summit, which will be held in Dubai from 3 to 5 February. It will be the largest edition of the summit to date, with more than 6,250 participants expected. The gathering includes 35 heads of state, representatives from 150 governments and around 500 ministers. Discussions will focus on global challenges and the evolving role of governance in driving development. The summit is also expected to draw extensive international attention, with coverage from more than 840 media outlets worldwide.Alongside the summit, the UAE will host a diverse range of events across multiple sectors:

  • Global Tolerance and Human Fraternity Conference

    Starting on 2 February in Abu Dhabi, the conference will bring together over 180 global thinkers, United Nations officials and academics. The discussions will explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and human fraternity, with a focus on ethics, coexistence and social cohesion.
  • Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education Scheduled for 14 and 15 February, the summit will feature training courses, panel discussions and specialised workshops. Topics include artificial intelligence in education, educational equity, future skills and school improvement models.
  • Worldef Dubai 2026 Taking place from 12 to 14 February, the digital economy forum is expected to attract 10,000 visitors from 80 countries. The event will feature 200 speakers and 150 exhibitors, focusing on global e-commerce growth and retail branding.
  • World Health Expo, WHX Dubai 2026 Running from 9 to 12 February at Expo City Dubai, the expo will include a specialised medical innovation programme led by Mass General Brigham, the largest hospital network in the United States and a leading integrated academic healthcare system.
  • Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026

    Hosted from 6 to 15 February, the event is expected to see more than 25,000 athletes from over 100 nationalities compete across 37 sports.

Together, the February calendar reflects the breadth of international activity taking place across the UAE during a single month, spanning policy dialogue, education, trade, healthcare and global sport.
