Hasan Piker, a popular streamer with the online handle HasanAbi, has come out to state that he will be continuing his live streams on YouTube despite being temporarily banned from Twitch. The ban occurred during a live stream on January 29, resulting in the HasanAbi Twitch channel being labeled as “temporarily unavailable.” Shortly after the ban, HasanAbi announced on social media that his next live stream would take place on YouTube, easing concerns from his fans that his content would be discontinued. This marks another moment of disruption in HasanAbi’s streaming career, which has seen several temporary suspensions over the years. Hasan did not focus on the ban itself in his announcement and instead shifted attention to his next stream. He confirmed that he plans to go live on YouTube the following day, giving fans a clear alternative to catch his content without delay.

HasanAbi confirms YouTube stream after Twitch ban

According to Hasan’s post, the YouTube stream will feature live coverage from an ongoing public demonstration related to immigration enforcement. He also mentioned that he will be joined by Rae Huang, a Los Angeles mayoral candidate, during the stream. While specific details about the stream’s format or length were not shared, Hasan’s message made it clear that he intends to remain active and visible despite the Twitch suspension. The reported ban happened mid-stream, around the time of the evening hours, thus cutting the stream short. This sudden end left viewers confused, but Hasan’s quick update helped to clarify the situation. HasanAbi’s Twitch account currently displays a standard suspension notice, which usually indicates a temporary ban and not a permanent ban from the platform.HasanAbi has a huge following on different platforms, including YouTube, which he has previously used when he faced problems related to his Twitch account. The ability to switch platforms indicates that major streamers are usually flexible in terms of where they stream, ensuring that they can still reach their followers even when faced with setbacks. Fans reacted positively to the announcement.Ultimately, HasanAbi’s latest suspension has not hindered his plans for content. By switching his next live stream to YouTube, he has ensured that his fans are not affected while he waits for his Twitch access to be restored. Once again, the spotlight is on when he will return to Twitch and how the platforms will continue to deal with popular streamers in the future.
